Welcome to the #1 Suburb in the Greater Cincinnati Area:
The City of Madeira, Ohio!!

Madeira, located 10 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati, was recognized in May, 2010 by Cincy Magazine as the #1 Suburb in the Greater Cincinnati area. This rating is based on the recent sales values of housing, our very low crime rate and the high quality of the award winning Madeira City Schools. Madeira was also recently recognized in 2009 by BusinessWeek magazine as the 40th “best place to raise kids” in the U.S.A. These rankings were based upon cost of living, quality of the local schools, safety and recreation opportunities. Reinforcing this ranking, U.S. News and World Report recently awarded the Madeira City School District a Silver Medal as having one of the top public high schools in the country. Madeira High School consistently ranks in the top 10 public high schools in Ohio.
With a hometown feel, Madeira has an attractive and vibrant central business district where visitors and residents can shop and dine. Located just outside of Madeira is one of the area’s premier regional shopping malls, Kenwood Towne Centre. Housing is primarily single-family homes with a wide range in price and styles. The city has acres of public parks offering all types of youth and adult recreation. Madeira is consistently recognized for its charming atmosphere, high quality of life, and being a family-friendly place to live, work and play. And now, we’re #1 in the entire Greater Cincinnati Area. For more information on this ranking, go to www.CincyMagazine.com.
