Madeira is a friendly suburban community located 12 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, and was recently recognized by BusinessWeek magazine as the 40th “best place to raise kids” in the United States of America. The rankings were based upon cost of living, quality of the local schools, safety and recreation opportunities. Reinforcing this ranking, U.S. News and World Report recently awarded the Madeira City School District a Silver Medal as having one of the top public high schools in the country. Madeira High School consistently ranks in the top 10 public high schools in Ohio.
 
With a hometown feel, Madeira has a wonderful central business district where visitors and residents can shop and dine. Located just outside of Madeira is one of the premier regional shopping malls, Kenwood Towne Centre. Housing is primarily single-family homes with a wide range in price and styles.
