CITY OF MADEIRA RECOGNIZED BY OHIO MAGAZINE !

Madeira has been selected by Ohio Magazine as one of the State’s Best Hometowns for 2014-2015. Representatives from Ohio Magazine announced that our community will be one of five communities recognized in their November 2014 edition. We are very pleased to have been selected for this honor; the City of Madeira has been recognized by other publications for the past several years as one of the top communities/neighborhoods in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Our reputation is now spreading outside of Greater Cincinnati and we could not be more pleased! A copy of the announcement from Ohio Magazine can be viewed by clicking HERE

Madeira was recently recognized by BusinessInsider.com as the #3 suburb in the country! The rankings are based on the excellent quality of the public school system, the very low crime rate, affordable housing, high per capita income and short commute time to downtown Cincinnati.  You can view the list of the 50 Best Suburbs as ranked by BusinessInsider.com by clicking HERE.

Madeira was also recognized in 2009 by Business Week magazine as the 40th best place to raise kids in the U.S, and a Silver Medal was awarded by US News and World Report to the Madeira City School District for being one of the top public high schools in the country. And as of October 2013, the City of Madeira has one of the highest residential recycling rates in the state. There's more! Forbes has ranked Madeira Schools number one in Ohio and two in the entire Midwest! You can read the Forbes article by clicking HERE.

Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to making Madeira a wonderful place to live, work, and play! Come and see why Madeira is The Friendly Town!
