Welcome to Madeira Miles

All 5 routes begin and end at the water fountain near the tennis courts at McDonald Commons.

All routes except the Blue (6.9 m.) and Red (5.0 m.) routes include wooded paths as part of the distance. These paths are part of the Madeira Park System and can be easily navigated by baby jogger or mountain bike.

Pick your routes or walk/run all five but remember to always follow traffic laws -

That is, run against traffic when you are running on a road.
Always use crosswalks.
Always cross at the intersection if there is no crosswalk because that is how we measured the distance.

If there is a sidewalk, routes always use the sidewalk.

Follow the arrows on the RIGHT SIDE of the sidewalk, as you would if you were driving.

The City of Madeira Parks and Recreation Board and Boy Scout Troop 209 hope you enjoy walking and running throughout Madeira. Challenge yourself to a new distance. Combine the 4.0, 4.1, and 5.0 mile routes or the 6.2 and the 6.9 for a half marathon. Combine all 5 to run a full marathon! No one says you have to do it all on one day. Happy walking and running!
