Finance Department
The Finance office is responsible for all areas of financial administration, including revenue recording, investments, expenditure tracking, financial records administration and financial reporting. In mid-July the annual "Tax Budget" is prepared and presented to Council for approval. In December, the Budget for the following year is submitted to Council for their approval and a final appropriation ordinance is passed. 

Each year, after the books are closed in December, the Finance office begins the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). This annual report is available July 1st and is prepared in a business-like accounting format. A copy is available at no cost upon request, or in PDF format by clicking HERE.

The City of Madeira Finance Office is located within the Municipal Building on the corner of Miami & Euclid Avenues.
