Recreational Facilities and Organizations
The City of Madeira owns and operate three park facilities within the city limits: Sellman Park, McDonald Commons Park and Nelle V. Hosbrook Bird Sanctuary. Please see the Parks page to get more details.

Although the City of Madeira does not own or operate any community facilities within the municipality, there are many private clubs within the community.

The Kenwood Country Club, a private golf club, is located along Kenwood Road just south of Euclid Ave. There are also several public golf courses located in close proximity to Madeira, such as Blue Ash, Sharon Woods, Indian Valley, Little Miami, and the Vineyard.

The Madeira Swim and Tennis Club, a private swim club, is located at 6580 Miami Ave. within a short walking distance of the Madeira Middle School. The facility offers swim lessons, a swim and diving team, tennis, and many social activities. Madeira is also home of two racquet and tennis clubs: Camargo Racquet Club located at 8215 Camargo Road and the Indoor Tennis Club at 7200 Shawnee Run Road.

The Blue Ash YMCA is also located within five minutes of the City along Kenwood Road offering both indoor and outdoor swimming facilities as well as other activities.

The City of Madeira lies within Hamilton County. The Hamilton County Park District offers boating facilities in some of their parks. Other facilities include Cowan Lake in Clinton County, East Fork Lake in Clermont County, and, of course, the Ohio River.

There are also many other recreational organizations that are run by members of the community. They are:
          Registration for 2018 season starts February 1, 2018 for two (2) weeks
          for children age 4 to 16.
